Me again. Got the Haynes out and I'm removing the head (from a 2000 TD5 110) now, to replace the Gasket and hopefully not having a new head.
The Haynes is pretty good but not being particularly mechanical (but learning fast!!) I'm just getting caught out here and there.
2B.10.12 'Disconnect the wiring plugs from the injectors, coolant sensor, glow plugs and boost pressure sensor. Check that all electrical connectors/harnesses that will prevent cylinder heads removal have been discoonected/moved to one side.
OK, Wiring plugs from injectors, there are 4 "wires" going into the block just below the inlet manifold with rubber head/end smaller but similar looking as though the would be spark plug HT leads.
Do these just pull off or do they disconnect some other way?
Where is the 5th plug?
Do the inlet and exhaust manifolds remain attached to the head for removal.
