I'm not up to date on painty things and can't be arsed to Google !!
What's a fish eye!!!

Na it's ok Paul I will pass on the offer thanks ! Ok I will try:rolleyes: to ex-plane in more detail , it's were the paint separates A leaves a ring a bit that looks like a fish eye , one another way to explain is if you put a drop of washing up liquid in oil it separates, fish eye is caused by contaminants be it on the job or in the air, be it that the job is all painted because of the contaminants it makes a hole in the paint, ie fish eye , like the rim of a volcano & the only way to get them out is to flat back , then you can ether re paint or polish

Got ya now!!!! Think I've seen it before!!
No grinder required then!!
Thanks for that in-depth explanation!
Now I'm on one , I will be looking at every feckers paint jobs looking for fish eyes!! And drawing big circles around them with a Sharpie and a big arrow pointing them out! At least you can fix it !! I just normally have finger prints and tab ash on my paint jobs
Thanks

Years ago when I was Powder coating I did a FULL H/D in a candy purple then on the tank mudguards headlight I lightly painted a Flame job then 2pk lacquered it ! 3 weeks later the mate who was building it back up rang & said that there was finger prints in the tank , so I went & had a look & sure enough F/in finger prints all over the tank were every body & there dog had had the tank in their hands :mad::mad::mad::mad: so i stook it in the SUN & watched them disappear :D can take weeks/months for 2pk to fully cure

Didn't think the sun would do that!! I'm impressed !! Learnt Sumik new :)
Wonder if it will get rid of wor lasses wrinkles !!
Whack her in the sun
for a few weeks!! She looks like a melted candle

Looking good! You can get a flasher relay now for LED indicators so they don't need inline resistors, but I don't know how well they work as I haven't tried them myself.

Thanks Paul , will be when it's finished & off the bike lift :) I can start on mine again then :D not been on here a lot over the last few days ,as I'v been helping a guy in the states fix a vn1500 & im going to give the lads over there a mention who have seen the thread , so I'm going to drop Their names Here ! AlphaJustin & Longshot-34 & i'm sorry if I left any one out ! LOL

+ the problem with the 535 the indicator relay is built into the BLACK box , so it's not just a case of swapping the relay :(

Getting there Slooooooooowly Paul :) If the reference need a bigger hammer is about the H/L there are that meany wires in there that i think it's water tight :rolleyes: LOL
