Stolen landrover. Doncaster area!!

hi, my beloved landrover defender 90 was stolen early hours this morning around 12.30. From right under my nose and my mrs even heard it screech down the street. It is or was a 1993 K registerd 200tdi pick up in green with ifor william back. safari snorkel. white weller wheels. rock sliders painted green. A bar with wipac spots. and reflective tape on the rear drop down tailgate.It even had a battery isolator switch hidden under the passenger seat. still managed to take it within a few minutes. From what ive been told the theives have been busy the last few days. Ive recentley read the thread on the "blue discovery man". please a reg number would be crutial i have a strong suspision!!. Any info or whereabouts of this landy would be much appreciated and a reward is available as i only owned this for 1 day!! please ring 07960164800[/SIZE]

Seems like South Yorkshire is getting hit quite hard by these thieves. I strongly suspect those caravan dwelling folk that seem to like Doncaster.

I live in Sheffield so I will certainly kep a look out for your Landy.

Possibly the seller..

police have visited the previous owner and no lead there. ive spoke to him and to be honest hes an oldish man who lives in thurlstone in a small village. saying that it would explain the less than 1 minute it took them to steal it. spare keys and battery key!. i just cant proove anything

thats what i was thinking, not been sat there long enough to be noticed by the local scum

Definatly sound like the seller to me, keep any eye out for it if, it comes for sale and get friend to enquire and go see it!
If their that stupid to nick it that quickly they just may be stupid enough to sell it on locally again!

Oldish man.... wouldnt make a difference I reckon. .. He may have a friend of a friend if ya know what I mean.

It's terrible and yes Sheffield and Yorkshire and surrounding areas are being hit bad from theft of Landy's, it's an ongoing occurance...
The day I see footsteps or notice an attempt to steal my Landy is the day I start to sleep in it, let them get a nice suprise when they open the door to me

my landrover was recoverd at 5pm today from hickleton. Which is 5 miles from my house. All i know so far is that the wheels are missing. Please be aware of any white weller wheels for sale with bfgoodrich tyres. Glad its back though just hope its not a wreck

just been informed by the recovery place that its been completley stripped for parts. Gutted!

glad you know where it is and hope your insurance is able to get it back in tip top condition ASAP.

I've spoke to a few lad's in the past who know some folk who do things like that which is how I get hold of my info such as the Blue Disco etc...

They've said to me as I'm in fear of my Landy being stolen all you need is a disc lock and a flashing red light, as soons as they see them, they will move on so if you've got more than one landy, do it to both or they'll just go for the easiest option.

Sound's mad because we can all get hold of a Disco lock from Halfords but they do work and it beats forking out on them Hydraulic clutch locks etc, also I think making a pedal box is a good idea too...

went to have a look at it yesterday. No roof. Window. Doors. Wheels. Mudflaps. Seats. Speedo. Washer bottle. Bonnet. Lights. Battery. Mirrors. I hope whoever has done this is reading this, ill find you its only a matter of time and ive got loads of that! God help you! Scum!
