Hi
New to this Forum but I need to let people know that my Landrover Defender 90 was stolen in the early hours of this morning from a village just outside Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire.
The people who took it were professionals at stealing Landrovers as it has a master switch fitted and another isolation switch on the dashboard and they managed to get past both. The vehicle is blue with big white number stickers on both doors as it was in the past used for trialling. It has had 'Bardon Aggregate' stickers down both sides of the vehicle. It is a 'C' reg but on a galvanised chassis with a winch on the front. If anybody sees this vehicle or is offered it for sale, please let me know....my husband and I are offering a reward for information leading to it's return....thank you. :(:(:(

Have you put it on http://landywatch.co.uk too?

Sometimes it doesn't matter what measures you put in place,if they want it, they will have it. Hiab (crane) is a popular method...just lifting it onto the back of a flatbed truck and away they go.

Hope you get it back

Thank you....I hope so too, not holding out much hope I'm afraid, as the people who did this knew what they were doing and came fully equipped.
I bet she's already been stripped down. :(
xx

maybe maybe not, isolation switches are far to easy to get past and wont stop anything that even half knows what they are doing.
Might just be joy riders.

Hope you get it back

That's awful, hope you get it back.

Bad luck Trish - know how you feel as mine was taken in January but it's not all doom and gloom, mine was recovered, sincerely hope you get yours back too. In the meantime I'll keep an eye out for it and spread the word as others on here were good enough to do for me when mine went walkabout. huffhuff's right, get it on landywatch pronto, as well as much social media coverage as possible. I'm still half convinced that the fact mine was out there all over the country via different forums, FB, Twitter etc. in a few hours led to it getting dumped so don't despair, fingers crossed.

Good luck.
