stick on number plates????

hi all im thinking of getting the stick on number plate for bonnet of my 200tdi save keep replacing original.

are the stick on ones legal????

and where can i get them????

This what the MOT manual say about them and a reason for a fail:

Is not easily legible by a person standing approximately 20 metres to the front/rear of the vehicle.

A registration plate not fixed vertically, or as close to vertical as is reasonably practical.

Can automatic number plate recognition or speed cameras see them.

I will let you make up your own mind on the legalities.

my magnetic one was of legal spec but ilegal due to the fact it was removeable. Cheap off eaby too bout 15ish quid inc pnp

how about if i fitted the number plate i have to my roof light bar (seen quiet a few people do this???)
