trying to help you guys, its easyer if you know HOW and WHY stuff works!!

if futre ya can fook off :D

What you need to consider is that some people have had better things to do with their lives so far, than finding out what solonoids, how they work and how to identify problems with them. You and I seem know a bit about this stuff, but if you cast your mind back... you might remember a time when you didn't . ;)

keep up fenby spoon feeding was barred here ages ago - however self learning is encouraged

I hope you've been reading up about pressurised oil feeding systems in engines then Sean, I seem to remember somebody giving out a rather ignorant piece of advice concerning that subject a few months ago;)

go on then remind me, seeing as you appear to have nothing better to do

Something about advising a guy to change his piston rings when he had low oil pressure if I recall correctly.

rather than just relying on your seemingly semi senile (but rather inventive) mind feel free to post a link to the thread in question

aren't you the smart arse - fortunately for you I've got better things to do than to trawl through your posts looking for examples of when your comments have eventually been shown to be unfounded

Look don't worry about it Sean I'm just pulling your leg, you could find some pretty stupid **** that I've said too (like that one about turning a Salisburry diff upside down - I got ribbed for that:D :D ). I just remembered that one because I posted a responce.

thanks for posting that thread, you've sorta shot yourself in the foot a bit as you appear to be arguing that worn rings would have no affect on oil pressure

wo wo wo chill out people!!!, just get back to the original question, where all land rover owners and have enough **** thrown at us without arguin amongst ourselves, at the end of the day where all on the same team!
