I've just fitted a split charge system for fookall. used a 200amp relay that I pikied off WLM, and the winch isolator switch that was fitted to the 110, when I got it.

Oh and bought 2 of these conect one to each battery. or to an item that's wired to the battery and it'll give you the battery voltage.

I got the same thing for my battery... but its wedged in my dash doing nothing at the moment as I'm a complete novice when it comes to electrics... I can change a bulb or a fuse n thats about it - but what your saying is that I can extend them little wires to go straight on the positive/negative battery terminals (check my out gettin technical ) and that I don't need no fuses? Cos I reckon even I can manage that electrical task!!

I wouldn't take the feeds direct to the battery, on my 90 I had dual digital displays one for each battery I wired them to each battery via a relay that was switched with the ignition

If u wire them direct to the battery they will be on all the time
