same as mine , a bit of everything ,better than road tyres not as good as others specificaly designed but then theyd be **** on a normal road ,its mostly down to driving ability to what you get out of tyre
 
I found mine are more than adequate for the Lro off road course at peterbourgh and a very long life span, 90,000 miles with constant 3.5 tonne towing and I have heard people getting as much as 150,000 on a set without towing but im not 100% on that
 
Winter Tyres are the only thing for the job, got my Pirelli Ice & Snow Tyres ready to go on.

Any tyre unless there's a Snowflake on the sidewall is going to be pretty useless in Winter conditions.
 
Mileage does sound alright I have to agree. Admittedly I am seldom off road a weekly run to the beach and a few fields is about the height of it for the 110, I did like the thought however of them being able to cope with the snow. I run 18" rims that came on her so I would like the one set of tyres to do me a long time.
 
I have cooper discoverer m+s does anyone have an opinion on these? Just got my Landy and the tyres all look new so guess I will have these for a while.

If you have AT2's? yes they will ... brilliantly unless it's too deep & soft (but all tyres would struggle then) and you of course you have enough tread left on them.

I had GG AT2's on the Disco when we had those 2 snowy winters a short while back and I was one of a few cars around here still driving around as if nothing was wrong, laughing my arse off at the posh pretend 4x4's that were spinning out and getting stuck with their low profile tyres:D :D

As for the newer GG AT's, don't know how they'll perform in snow.
 
Mud tyres in the snow are about as much use as a one legged man at an arse kicking contest, they'll dig big holes rather than flattening the snow and gripping Most winter tyres on a 4x4 will cope to a degree, summer tyres are not a lot of good due to the harder rubber compound used in their construction.

Mine have been brilliant in the snow in the past few years!

I have General Grabber TR's on my 90. During the last dusting of snow we had, the 90 handled perfectly where others were visibly struggling on light gradients etc.

Not tried them (or the 90) in 'real' snow yet though. I'm quite looking forward to it if the opportunity presents itself.
 
We was out in January when we had the 1 day of snow.

Went out as it started around midnight and was helping people while it was falling fast.

In fact we stopped for 20 minutes to change a mates fuel filter and our tracks and footprints had dissapeared. Was about 6 inches deep at least.

Never had any problems.

You do know that the BFG AT KO does have the snowflake.
And yes, I have used them for 2 very bad winters in Norway, and they were absolutely amazing.
I could drive up and down roads, where you would never even try to ****.
