went to the muffler shop today .....

first i parked next to a merc in the "compact only" spaces :D

then after breakfast , went to the muff shop .
was a jeep and pick-up in the lot , to compare sizes to a p38 .(wasnt a very big truck , but a nice jeep )
the guy is into rock-crawling , and is currently building a toyota pick-up with a "small" 7" lift , just for the kids to play in when they go out at weekends .... they have a "proper" one for there use :)

I have one of those on my diesel classic, I believe the correct term for it is a Harmonic Damper.

If its not covered in oil then you have a problem, a Land Rover isn't a Land Rover without the odd oil leak.

Locket - have you read this thread?
he was told in posts 2 & 4 what it was. He posted pics in post 7 and was told again in post 12 and 37 what it is.

If he dont believe us, aint listening and cant be bothered to search as was suggested by Drippy in post 8, then it is he, not us that is being ignorant and rude.
