got my paint ready to do mine, as it happens I also renewed my insurance this weekend with swiftcover. Mentioned to them my plans to change colour and they when I do they wont cover any colour change!! guess I'll be shopping around when I do it. what difference will colour make?

Nice job by the way, got the same colour in the kitchen waiting till the spring though.

Good lad for doing it green Ant, it's the only way :p

1k Poly is the normal choice for brush painting. I just slapped mine on with a brush, got superb stroke marks in it, excellent variation in thickness and finish, and a couple of sags for 3D effect.

That was until the green lanes did this, lol:

It's pretty uniform scratch finish all over now, including the roof which I am particularly proud of :)

One of my reasons for going Nato Green, If it gets battered I don't care and with it being satin it is so easy to just mask up flat down and respray. That and it's cool as ****, my daughter wants me to Camo it.

Mine's Fuched Green and I didn't realise I wanted a colour change 'till I saw this thread. Bastards the lot of yer! I do like the colour coded edges to the grille that OP has. Does anyone know if D2 grille would fit straight on?
