Suspension was working fine one day and then the next unable to raise from access height to standard ride height. Standard ride height flashing but throwing no fault, rear suspension lifting as normal while front stays on bump stops.

Have checked compressor which is fine.

Check the diaphragm valve. Sounds like lack of air. What diag are you using or do you mean no faults on dash?

Residual air? When I switch engine off and close doors, the rear drops to self level with the front which is on bump stops. If I start the car again the rear rises again

Rear will rise if there is are to lift it, when there is non left it won't rise. If it keeps dropping then rising when you start car there must be something wrong. You say you have no faults? If it keeps doing that you must have. Try lifting it with EASunlock. Was the diaphragm leaking with compressor running?

Diaphragm replaced, rear rising but front still on bump stops.

Then you must have a problem on diag. Check sensor readings and try to lift with EASunlock. Something is wrong somewhere. Do you have a solid access lamp and a flashing height lamp or are they all on?

Wammers, can switch eas pump on and off with EASUnlock but nothing happens if I try and lift it with the software. I can get the height readings for each profile, only fault showing is 7 - Vehicle has moved.

Height sensor readings are FL 46 FR 45, RL 70 RR 70.

Can you lower & raise the rear ? If your EAS Cable is long enough, you should hear the solenoids clicking when you select the raise & lower buttons on the software.

Maybe driver pack is not firing the front valves ?

Hi Grrrrrr, the pump does run in normal use and lifts the rear airbags, just can't use it to change heights in EASUnlock

So when on calibration page when you press goto any particular height setting nothing happens. Is that correct? What are the stored heights at standard and the physical height at standard. Try to go to each height setting and note physical and stored height settings. Normally if access lamp is solid and standard lamp is flashing and nothing happens the system is short of air. All height changes MUST be commanded with all doors tailgate and bonnet shut. The ECU demands height changes subject to sensor readings by commanding the driver pack to open or close valves. Normally if a command is given and after a period of time the sensor position does not change as read by the ECU a fault is thrown. At this stage i would be questioning if the ECU is functioning correctly.

Hi Wammers, yes your first sentence is correct. Will report back with stored and physical heights tomorrow although physical will be difficult for front suspension as it isn't lifting off bump stops and I'm sure rear won't go to extended because the front suspension hasn't lifted to standard ride height.

Wammers, just tried the EASUnlock software again, bit too dark to get physical measurements but this time when I pressed the Go To profile the software would raise the rear suspension to all the settings, not sure if I heard the sound of air escaping from the front of the car as I was cycling through the settings though. Would a damaged front air spring stop both lifting?

Height Settings

Front Left Front Right Rear Left Rear Right
132 135 124 129 High

105 105 110 110 Standard

89 90 98 98 Low

Yes. They lift together, if one is leaking badly they will not rise. Wish you had have noticed that earlier. ;)
