If it's not one thing it's another!! Disconnected the battery earlier today in prep for removing front seats as they need a really good clean, been meaning to do it for ages and have now borrowed a cleaner to do the job. So tried to find ratchet to undo bolts, but couldn't find it anywhere and had nothing else I could use, so I decided to postpone until tomorrow to look for it, reconnected battery and window went down, so I followed calibration info and window went right up, so far that could not close the door? Pressed button down and can hear reg working but window stays where it is?? Any ideas, or am I looking at a new reg? Took off the casing and reg is at top of the door, so although can hear it working it might not be!?

Thanks

can I just check, did you drive the window up using the dash button while the tailgate was open ?

I have been out and tried the ccu test, still no joy, when locking the car the horn beeps like a door is not shut properly, tailgate is shut and window up, also upon further investigation looks like a cable has broken!!

It appears a cable is broken, it was rusty so not suprised, question is do I get a repair kit? Or another unit itself?

Thanks

A lot easier just to get another unit. You can repair them but personally I didn't have the patience then realised my pulley was damaged so wasn't much good anyway
