As you all Know(I think) when I bought my 2005 freelander the drivers window was not working requiring a new regulator which I replaced bit of a job getting the regulator round door locking mechanism bolted it all together tested it fine, Then a day or so down the line just as the window lowers there is a series of Click click clicks at the start to lower and just at the end of raising window click click click sounds door lock end?when regulator is fitted are there any spacers between regulator frame and door skin where it bolts to to keep it away from locking mechanism? It does sound like something is catching? have looked but it is hard to see inside anyone else had the problem at all?
