Hello everyone, I am not sure if you can help, I have looked through all the threads but not found the answer. I have also bought the Service repair manual CD on RAVE and not found the answer. I bought an old Freelander commercial for my dogs, and at first the Tailgate Rear Window worked perfectly, but now it will not drop enough to open the door. I have re-calibrated, and the window works all the other ways it should, but not on just opening the door. I can force it down a bit more to get the door open, and then it closes as it should when I shut the door. The door handle makes the clicks when pressed but the window will just not come down enough to open the door. Any answers and help greatly appreciated, as with three big dogs, it is very difficult when getting them out of car, and then having to shut window with key and then lock car with fob whilst they are pulling me towards their walk in the woods!
I have not used a forum before so I hope this is in the right place!

Welcome, try google and search for 'freelander rear window problems', that ought to give a start (the first hits are to Landyzone...).
try the freelander section of LZ, or if you're really desperate, ask in Anything Goes... :D

Thank you very much for your responses. Ihave been Googling for days, but cannot find the answer, suspect it may be the micro switch in the handle workings, but wanted to find out if it could be anything else before I start taking all the panels off.

Thank you for your response, I will try posting in Freelander section and look at anything goes, don't really know how to find my way around this forum yet, but will have a go
