Hello everyone
I have this problem that when i open the tailgate window will go down fully with switch but wont go up again until you close the door back but when you close door and you get the window up it won't open again until you open the door again

I've had most tailgate window problems, but not this one !
I'd start by resetting and recalibrating window. Shut tailgate, disconnect battery, leave for 5 mins, reconnect and window should drop. Then, with tailgate closed raise window to full height and try again.

Otherwise I would suspect the tailgate open switch is faulty and is confusing the CCU about where the door actually is, open or closed.

The window won't go up unless the CCU gets a door closed signal, that's normal. The window should drop about 20mm before the door opens, and drive up the same 20mm when closing the door, again that's normal.
From memory the window won't go fully down on the switch, unless the door is closed, but I could be wrong there.
I'd try the calibration procedure as in the owners handbook first, just in case the system has got confused.

Definitely +1 on the reset and recalibrate as listed above.

The window will also not lower if the rear wiper isn't fully retracted down onto the rubber.... and the CCU thinks it is.

Just checked how it should work !

Door closed, window goes up and down.

Door open, window only goes down, goes fully down ok. Will not lift until door closed.

I've got a vehicle coming in on Friday which drops window fully when door handle operated !

Thinking its probably the hall effect sensor in the motor not telling the CCU where it is and so not just dropping an inch.

I'll let you know.
