So one of my rear hubs was leaking. Checked breather, changed hub cap and still leaking so I took the hub off to replace the paper gasket. I also bought the felt gaskets but not sure where they go?

I also sheared two of the hub bolts, any ideas how to get them out?

The felt washers go behind the half shaft nut and washer. If there are the bolt ends sticking out then after a soak in penetrating fluid a gripper may remove them.[heat is also good ] If flush then careful drilling and taping is needed [more of an engineering job to do right] May be simpler to find another hub.

One more question - when I take off the hub, gear oil is leaking out. It seems from reading manuals that the gear oil should only be inside the tubed flange and grease should be in the bearing area, is that the case?

There is an oil seal at the back of the stub axle which if I remember correctly, prevents the axle / diff oil from migrating to the hub / bearings. I wouldn't worry though, I think some people do without this and allow the bearings get more lube purposely.

Re the prop / diff leak - sounds like the pinion seal. If you have a short wheel base it should have a Rover axle and it's a fairly simple job, although not a job I've had to do myself....yet. If you have a LWB model then it may have a Salisbury diff and I believe it's a bit more involved.
