Re-sync after battery dissconnected ???

:welcome2: HI TO YOU ALL , i have a big problem as i am trying to help 3 lads who have dissconnected their car batterys without using a secondary circuit ????:doh::doh::doh: yes you know who you are but i wont name and shame you :D:D:D i normally help lads who need re-sync and have done over 30 successfully using my manuall system ..but on these 3 cars it wont work ???????????? so can you confirm and the reasons why ?? that im my opinion they need to be connected to either ,nanocam/ faultmate /autologic. to enable this to be rectified:scratching_chin::scratching_chin::scratching_chin: ,,,urgent advice would be welcome so i get these 3 nice fellow landyzone lads on their way ,,where are you ??? datatek/ wammers / jtherange//irishrover ????????? i know that someone will have the defintive answer ,,,cheers and kinf regards MOZZ
 
If they have lost the EKA code they can be done manually. If they have lost the ECM security link to BECM they can't, and need diagnostics or a Syncmate for that vehicle type to reset it. Batteries should only be disconnected following the instructions in RAVE.

For what it's worth, my 96 locked out a couple of times when putting a battery on it, both times just disconnecting the battery again for a few minutes and carefully reconnecting it got me out of it, never did have to use the EKA code:) The handshake on the diesel is very simple unlike the V8:)
 
2nd stage lockout is when the immobiliser and the eka lockout status are both showing alarmed and locked out at the same time, with this locked out nothing can be done with the Key in the door and the Becm wont talk to a diagnostic system through the Obd port untill it has been reset via access to the Cpu on the locic board.

Will you be able to reset it with a nanacom or do you have to have the fullmate
