Hi Lander's

From South Africa

I just took ownership of my pastor's Freelander 1 which has been standing since 2014 due to (you guessed it, no one could get close to the real problem since this car has required special tools for the longest time, and still does. Will try to be short

So after all my research, I remain with two problems that I want to sort out first.

Code P1672 (need to re-sync the immobilizer with the ECM)
The chip in the key would turn the engine but not start (this key shows that it is key #0) I then had another chip programmed to the EWS 3D and it cranks. all vital signals including crank speed works)

I have learned that the below are the best but are there any alternatives found by now that can allow me to learn the two ECUs and at least start the vehicle? humbly asking for any advice. Currently using the AUTEL Maxi IM508

Pscan - the best and recommended (good pricing but steep for me at the current economic fallout in SA)
Nanocom - Also same as above

I hear something of Delphi Ds 150e or wow- I can afford this but need to know if someone has used it for this function and whether it works
I also found the EAS does any of this work on the Freelander 1 and can it do the above? by the way I sent an email to the owner with no response and the facebook page also appears to have had updates a long time ago.

Please feel free to advise me on the above

The second issue I know exists is that when the car stopped it actually didn't engage or move (Automatic) and I have now picked up code about the 2-4 brake solenoid - I have checked the youtube video and I can change this part. but need to know it this can actually cause the car now to move at all since all I could gather is that this solenoid can cause rough shift.

The third issue but not as urgent as the above is that the scan tool showed me the EKA is 1-2-0-0 (I wouldnt know how to key that in when I have an emergency)

Thanks in advance
Prosper

If anyone is around Pretoria and advise me of someone that can help I'd be very grateful.
