So my newly fitted raptor dash and the gear stick are having a coming together in 1st, 3rd and 5th gear.

Its managable and the gear engages fine but its very close. Have heard i can turn the gear stick around a little?

Anyone care to elaborate? :D

Muchas gracias.

Hi. If you take the gaiter off the gear stick, You can undo the nut and pull stick off and rotate it, which might give you a little bit more room.
My mudstuff dash is very close when changing gear.

I had a raptor dash never had any trouble changing gears Have ya got FAT fingers?? :D

Yes :D

But i cant even get me finger between um. The gearstick hits the dash when changing gear!

Will try the unbolt, spin and re bolt thing. after that ill try bending the gearstick.

i put a dog leg in mine so it still point upwards but is much closer to the driving position (idont have to get out of the seat to change gear now lol) and i can use both cigar sockets now for chargers etc no bother

Wow, thats just beautiful.

Thats a good idea that, is a gear lever easy to bend? they feel pretty sturdy. :(

It's a pain the in the arse to bend, like slomofo said, heat it up, but try and do it as high a possible as there is a rubber dammper holding the stick to the bottom part. Which as i found melts easily under a blowtorch.:5bbanghead:

Right oh.

I dont want to bust it, do you think me lighter would do it? :D

Will give the gas torch a go if turning it round dosent work.

Any pictures at all of these doctored gear levers as I have the same problem. I was just going to attempt to bend mine in a vice but I like the idea of it sitting correctly but further back. Maybe I should just give it to a smithy ??

I had the same problem and the undertray was the cause of it, bent the gearlever slightly and I actually prefer where the gear lever sits now, was a win win for me :D
