Im planning a wee trip up to Scotland for next year. all ive got so far is the journey to Fort William. i was planning on heading up the west side over the top a little, down the middle towards the cairngorms then back to the motorway and back to Bristol.

now... its all well and good looking at maps and ****. but where should i actually go? is there anywhere interesting? or is it all cold and miserable.

also does anyone want to hook up for a drive and a beer? be good to meet our most northern LZ members :)

all info much appreciated.

Applecross, campsite and pub. It dun't matter where you go if you follow the coast up the west and across the top you won't be disapointed. I always fancied the Outer Hebrides.

Ere Griff !

Heading up north on Friday for a couple of days meself. Will stop at Fort William and then onto Mallaig. Thinkin' of goin' over to Skye and off the other side to where ever. Will let ye know if there's any good places to visit when we get back;) :D

£1 a piece for 20" x 10" roof slates So theres about £2k sitting on those rafters. Leads fetching a resonable price at the moment as well. All those chinese plumbers & electronics bods are running out of solder. oh and those slates were 10,000,000 years in the making so 150 years isn't that long.
