Just got back tonight, bloody knackered;) :D Had a good weekend, dun nearly 700 miles (must get new seats!!!). Dunno about any lanes, but some of the roads we were on should surely pass for one;) Had a couple of nights near Arisaig, which is down a bit from Mallaig. Pub was only about 1/2 a mile from campsite and the food was quite good. Then went on the ferry to Skye. Had a few hours there, the wife wanted to see the otters at Kylerhea, tell ye wot though, that's some road!!!Then back over the bridge, stopped at Eilean Donan castle, then on to Spean Bridge to see the Commando Memorial, then Invermoriston, then Glen Nevis where we stopped last night. It's quite a good campsite with good amenities, had to laugh though, the old bus is now classed as a motor home:confused: :D
When Ah get round to it, Ah'll put some pictures up for ye;) :D

Only a few hours on Skye ! - you missed some of the best roads in the country, and some of the best views, and nearly all of the best camp sites, we like it so much up there we're moving there

But if you want a REALLY good road try Bealach na Ba to Applecross, i defy anyone to name a better one
