The p38 with clear indicators is one of the most best looking cars on the road i think .It stands out from other cars, but i do like the look of the L322 but i am just a couple of quid short.

My thinking is that the worse part of a P38 is the back end...I hate those lights...so very old fashioned now. If I did nothing else I' change the back to look like the new L322.

in fairness, Pikey - he aint advertising as such - just askin why someone is slaggin orf the quality of there work if the sed peep aint had any of their work.

Ive fond the same problem, before on there website it said £5000 for front and back conversion inc lights painting and fitting.
The prices for the part form range over individually are £3128 that with buying front lights at Range Rover main dealer price.
So i was amazed when i finally phoned up to book my car to to find out, it would now cost me in the region of £8000!

There sport version comes out soon and has already been on you tube but i could not find it, The land rover magazine has some pictures in it which i am told are quite good, but the first is always the best as the manufacturer takes loads of time to prep it, but that goes for any prototype really. There website is under construction and now might include the sport conversion. there is a company in Ireland who do the sport version and there panels fit over the original panels, but seems to work quite well, this kit fitted and painted is £8000, but the tyres foul the body work when in low position. The price from Rangeover is around £4500 so i was told and that was fitted and painted. I do feel a little Niffed by rangeover as i helped them in dealership supplies and did a little running around for them, i was promised to be looked after, but never happened.
They still have my headlamp unit, collecting dust in there warehouse but assured it is safe. i do have a L322 front headlamp kit except for the o/s front as rangeover have the o/s, so if anyone is interested let me know.

personaly i cant understand why someone would want to make a perfectly lovely looking range rover P38 look like a cheap sport lookalike!
hope it goes well though.......
was behind a sport today and although i seen them before it really did dawn on me as to how ugly they are from behind, look like the nasty mitsubishi things from a few years ago!

Well the front looks ok, but they have used a new donor car, either a customer or they have bought one to convert, probably thats where the extra £3000 is required. well it does get my appetite going to see this in the flesh so to speak, but not at £8000 i'm afraid, i will just go and buy another L322. i bought one just before they were charging me £6000 to have the supercharged kit fitted on my P38 and there was a bereavement in the village and was approached by a local who knew i liked range rovers and it was a Vogue 4.4, so the £6000 went towards that, then i had the front supercharged kit fitted by a coventry company, still got the P38 in the family though. I don't think the back looks that bad on a sport, but will be interesting to see the back tailgate as there will have to be some trimming here, lets face it though, credit due to rangeover for attempting the conversion and it's going worldwide, if the conversion is within reason, i would consider it. I hear rangeover do interiors now

Hi Rangeover, thought you were out there in the wings. Where are these pics then, it looks good from the front this sport but whats the rumour on prices and get your website constructed, there are people wanting to see it. So:) how much is it then, Fitted/painted and ready to rolo out.:D

Credit where credit is due, Range Over have seen a market for P38 conversion kits and have gone after it.

I said previously on another thread that I have been holding out for the Super Charge front conversion simply down to the fact that it's much more sexy looking with the new bumper and headlights/grille than the original plain L322 one they originally produced.

When I have some money, I'm buying one for sure....if your a P38 purist I can see why someone would think it's sacrilege......

.....but at least it wont look like a boy racer pimping a Fiat Uno or such like with a body kit, flared arches, huge spoiler on the back etc etc

If Range Over has upped the prices as others have suggested then I may have to think again.

I can buy a 2004 L322 Range Rover for £15K.....no modifications and is actually the better car out of the two models.

If a body kit costs £6-8K they will have priced themselves out of a lucrative 2nd hand Range Rover market....

Hi sorry please note
due to post message like this the info for supercharger kit is now delete &
we no longer reply to thread

Oh good that got rid of them ****s. Now if other users can stop bigging em up life really will be sweet. And lets face it from what I've read about them on this and other forums they really are a bunch of crooks and conmen and the forum will be a better place without them.
