Sold (sad day for me
It is with very great regret that I am offering for sale my much loved P38 I have owned this Landy since 98, only 2 owners (me being the 2nd) from new (mileage is 127170) and bought from a Land Rover showroom, this is an old girl, but it had been looked after, not in pristine condition to say the least, now needs work on it to get it right, but the important running parts, air ride are 100% as is the chassis with no rust on the chassis at all, let me talk about the bad bits first, sagging roof liner, tired paintwork on the body, a few scuffs here and there on the body, but nothing serious, off side mirror needs seeing to (I have a replacement) heated pad driver's seat not working (I also have a better carbon pad replacement upgraded one, well I have 2 to replace the broken one) The A/C isn't working, its full of gas, but it's not coming on, I suspect it's a solenoid or stuck on the clutch, the front heated screen is about 50% not working, some dead wires on it, (I don't know if it's a bad earth, or it can be repaired or not)
Now some good bits.... Have a larger upgraded Intercooler (makes a big difference with acceleration) custom-built and fitted, hot-start, solid boot liner, 3 new tyres on it, one in the boot, 2 on the back, big newish battery, 2 New running boards, rebuilt air ride system with a newish (Dunlop, not after market ****h) pump with not many hours on it, engine is very clean, K&N Filter, 2 Keys and emergency key, and I have always maintained it throughout its life, I have a LOT of parts to go with it, brake shoes and lots of other stuff I will throw into the sale, I am looking at around £2k for it, and I think that's a fair price, and it takes into account the condition of the Landy, we can haggle a little on the price, but just a little, I will not give it away, I am getting another car in mid-March, so I can wait till then, but if you want to do that, you will have to give me a deposit (non-returnable) of £500 if you want, or you can buy it outright anytime you like and just take it away there and then, if you need to ask about my P38 just ask on this forum in the Range Rover section, they all know me and will vouch about how genuine I am, if you need more pics of anything just say, the personal reg will stay with the car, no charge
A few ppl have asked for more picks, so here you are, and a small video as well, so you got the new unused spare wheel, and the new back ones as well, the new running boards, and the vid is a cold start, and believe me it was cold outside, the car has not been washed for at least 3 months!!
I forgot to add, it has Arnott bags (second generation, the good ones)
I am going to add some diagnostic software and a very old laptop with this as well and the diagnostic leads
I also changed the front-wheel bearings, I put a pair of front hubs on, about 2 years ago (not a lot of milage since)
I have a service kit, If you want I can change the oil and all the filters, or give you the oil and filters, so you can do it, should be just enough oil to do a service, should be 8.7 litres If I remember right?
