Oils...

This is my fisrt landy,only had the disco since October,all my other 4x4's have been Japanese.
Going to do an oil service soon and change all the oils,so what oils should I use..?

suggest you get a copy of the haynes manual for Disco2.
It has all service and oil info
Good to have but also search and download a copy of RAVE.
The landrover bible.
And welcolm to the world of Disco 2 ownership.

Eer,its a D1,and I have a Haynes for it where it says use ATF for a manual box..

Search treads by 'the biglad' he has listed what u require and quantities more than once, so no point in doing it again.

Disco 1
Gearbox and power steering : Dextron llD ATF. 9.8ltr auto box. 3.4ltr for steering.
Transfer box and both axles : SAE 80 or 90 EP. 2.8 ltd for transfer box. 1.7 ltd each axle.
Radiator : Red antifreeze 11. 7ltr, some say blue?
300tdi engine oil : 6.7ltr including filter. I use 15w40 mineral, but some say semi synthetic.
