Thanks to some helpful advice on my recent laning trip, I now know how to access the rear floor without butchering the carpet
Behold!
Amazing that it's almost as it left the factory, 12/13 years ago.....apart from the fuel pump inspection panel!! Bloody hell, what a rusty mess. 4 out of the 6 screws move, the other two don't. I'll try an impact driver on them before cutting a slot in the heads. If that fails then angle grinder time :clap2:
So, should I wire brush and hammerite the panel? Or should I get a new one? My local LR dealership has them priced at £26-odd for the panel and £3.50 for the seal. It won't break the bank, but I do have plenty of hammerite!!
