needs re synic again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello guys , wondered if anyone can help,just went out to start my rr which is a 1996 p38 4.0 petrol, unlocked it with remote as normal, no issues their, whent to start, but went to crank and nothing, all dash lights as normal , no fault codes, this happened to me about 3 months ago , and had to take it to rr specialist so get re synic done , which is only a 5 minuite job, but dose anyone out there who lives in or around kent area have the kit to re synic , or dose it need to go to rr dealer , and dose anyone know why it seems to need to be re syniced every 3 months is this a common problem on the p38, is their anything that can be done to avoid this every 3 months , apart from sell it which my better half seems to think would be good idear, as she has seen a pair of shoes she would like lol ,.,. what do women know about boys and their toys !!!!!!!!hope someone can help , Rob
 
hi rob did your bat go flat? it norm the rf box is at fault, you can buy box to resync cost £130 from blackbox. hope that helps you
 
make sure you have a good battery, any slight drop in power can trigger the gremlins, failing that there must be something else thats causing it, check connections etc before you re sync it!
 
Hello guys, thanks for the replies, yes i have good battery , some times i do have problem with rf reicever, depending where i park, but always over come this problem withe the eka code , i have noticed it can be a bit of a lazy starter at times , but even when i put direct feed to starter with ignition on it will crank but not fire up , and remote working fine , another re synic i think , last time this happened i joined this forum and spent 3 days doing research only to find it needed re synic , so by past experence am i thinking yet again another 70 quid to get her running, quiet frustraiting that every time you use it your left wondering will she start????? Rob

it would be worth it to you to buy the re sync box like j the range has.£130 so it will pay for itself after two call outs.plus you can flog it if or when you sell the rangy.
 
Where would i be able to get one from ? i did see a post , i,m suer it was j the range who said he never goes anywhere with out his , only read it last week and thought to myself it would be wise to get one , quiet clearly it so happens it would , Rob
 
hi rob i got mine from blackbox but you can get them from other places. i would think it would be good investment for you. also take singel wire plug off your rf box. j
 
Hello j, do you have a contact no for blackbox or address?, if i took the wire off the rf what would be the benifit? how would this help? Rob
 
a good chance it wont go out of sync again, you can still open on remote just need to be closer. you can get re sync box from a place in south west but i cant remember the name sure some body will for you. j
 
Thanks guys this is of some help, ill be flat bedding to dakar cars tomorrow at some point who did it for me before, really nice and helpful people, and dont mind telling you what you need to know , even the reception ladies are most helpful, so now i have another quandery, how do i tell the better half she can swing for her shoes?????? or more to the point how do i keep her away from my rr with my lighter?? lol??? and before anyone comments she loves to be tied up so that wont work !!! lol
 
punch her in the gob!!! that way when you tell her about the car she:
1 wont be able to speak

and

2 still be in shock from the punch!!!
 
guys guys, i think you miss understand, although i do wear trousers, honest, the above dose not help, as she is i kick boxing expert if you get my drift ....so i do have to be a bit diplomatic as i'm sure i speak for most of you i can't suck my own c--- and boy she is good ... lol....
 
Your not getting this are you , that is something i cant live with out, so the thought of not getting it at all , well i might as well end it now , if you get my drift she is a diamond , ,
