Need some info on LZIR

Am getting some stuff together for display boards for LZIR- for Bristol & Bath Show .... could do with a bit of info-

How many members have we got currently signed up on LZIR ?- across how many countries

Any idea of how many rescues have taken place ?

Just over 200 I believe, Pm Daft, he has the full list and counted them up recently.......though added a few recently.....damn.....I'll count 'em up a bit later.

Number of rescues is a bit tricky because not all end up in the LZIR part of the forum.

I have some photo's selected ready to send... i just need to write a bit of blurb to outline the background. I'll try and sort that later as well though it'll probably be quite late tonight.

MHM can give you LZIR numbers on the map, but approx 200.

We have had various rescues from africa to china with a gearbox and sirus a wheel to spain

As a thought the sticky with ratty's co worker was epic and I stuck it a a sticky

Not sure ones I have been to and remember are:

-Nelly did a Ratty, Ditch incident,

-Some twit in Fernaux Pelham,

-Another twit Fernaux Pelham drove into the run off muddy bit in the dark,

-Some Twits off piste in a quarry,

-Some local guys stuck in a greenlane with Disco 3 days and many previous attemps,

-Ryder Various (but back then he was new)!! Main ones was SantaPod and Ashwell.

I'm sure there was another but cannot think.

i have 205 peeps logged as LZIR

and im proud of it

Over 30 are logged - and theres a fair few more not in the LZIR section.


LR23 - shouldnt the badge have LZ in it somewhere?

Laminating some of the signs for the boards and some of the maps and LZIR info.

Got a few photos to make a start on - but if anyone has any on their phone give me a shout and I'll PM you my e-mail address so you can send them on to me

Mine are all in the dark. Took4 hours to get him out

No pictures but Fanny came out and recovered my disco then spent a good 4-6 hours fixing it for me champion bloke

Pinched daughter's laptop and sent myself some of the rescue piccies from LZIR but I've only got photos from 4 rescues .

we got any other threads or photos around ?

The Pajero rescue was deffo a classic especially as he had his wife, 2 kids and the M.I.L in the back. Birthday treat for the wife.. instead of shopping, as she'd asked..

Did a write up of this'un last night to go with a couple of piccies but my puter dint like it and ate it!

Will try again to see if I can find where it's hidden it....or re-write :frusty:
