Daft see post 9 at 21.20 .... statin what he needed.... then read post 10 at 21.22.... aa on their way... now im sure you know as well as i do that he must of rang the aa before he posted post 9.. :(

Because the AA, RAC and other breakdown services dont know half as much as members on here, personally if needed id post on here that id called my breakdown service then tell symptoms on here as it may help rescue bloke get me going rather than trailering me home :)

Minty I agree that posters should state in first post if a breakdown service has been called.

They can then post their request for help/advice about their problem, just in case it's an easy remedy like this one, and secondly if there is information, again like this case, which might help the Breakdown company.

Finally, at busy times, breakdown companies can take over an hour to get to you. If it's a simple fix, and a member nearby can help sooner then a call to LZIR is worth it.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is it about CCTVs and them causing a failure to start. Or should I do a search FFS?

Do a ........ ;)

It appears that the frequency the wireless CCTV cameras work on is too close to rangies security system .

Dunno if removing the aerial in the station would work. Certainly it seems that the vehicle is ok a short distance away.

the issue is the frequency of wireless devices so a wireless connected cctv camera may cause a problem, but a hard wired one would not.
