need help p38 stuck in Sheffield

Dunno if removing the aerial in the station would work. Certainly it seems that the vehicle is ok a short distance away.

cheers daft,not to bad this morning though but was a very painful night for me.hey ho life etc etc.

I apologise for the hassle ladz just that AA initially said 2hrs before anyone could get out to me so I just thought I would ask on here. Sorry for the hassle caused.

Thanks seein as tho it was me that posted on here about it.... however the AA stated 2 hours so if you had been rescued by LZ would you cancel the AA? Or what if LZ and AA arrived at the same time? Who would of rescued you?? whos time would you of wasted? .... im not havin a go at you im tryin to get peeps to see it from LZIR side.

2 things here, in this particular instance....

Had he contacted us first, he could have pushed the car off the p station and been on his way in 10 mins.
If that hadn't worked he could have called the AA.

More info might have given him more options.

Interestingly.......

When I went to Deasys call out on the way back fron the Bristol and West last year the AA truck was there when I arrived ready to load him up.

After sussing the problem and talking to the AA bloke we decided to fix it rather than him get a piggyback, mostly cause the drivers hours were nearly up and he couldn't take him all the way which would have meant Deasy doing the last leg hitching or scrounging a lift and his Disco getting back the next morning

As it turned out, a bbq and an oil flush and refill later, he drove home no problems

Well personally if a LZIR member was close by as 1 of the guys was i wouldve cancelled the AA but tbh it wouldve been weighing up the time.
AA - 2hrs
LZIR -1HR
I wouldve let the AA come rather than let a member drive 1hr to me then drive 1hr back home i would feel bad. If someone was 10mins away i would appreciate their time in the nicest sense.

But *if* i ever need help again I will think before i call on your services.

it wasnt a dig at you, per se. just we've had a few recently .... & Mintz was feeling left out .

Yes i can understand with the time scale. I just think it would be best to either call one or the other and get a reply from the first one before you ask the second....

You aint the first and you wont be the last...

So if you put some wireless cctv on your range rover then that's a very effective way to stop it from being stolen?
