I always liked it a bit tighter than looser
after fitting one to my series 3 i have to say i am impressed! the big test will be its first green laning session as anyone who knows me will tell you i am not shy of trees (you should see the scratches down the side of the landy

Got mine this morning and it fits just fine.
Yet to be tested at speed but I doubt it will fall off on its own as it fits nice and tight. Just like it says on the tin.

I would actually quite like one, but as this pic will show my fuel filler is not the type yours is. I think this cover will fit any defender with a rear mounted tank - the early 90's had them under the driver.
Yep mines the same as boydy's and it's a 1987 model 90.
