Firestone SAT's are directional whereas cheaper makes were not and nowhere near as good. Even illegal bald SATs the side lugs were over an inch deep.

If they were 750R16 I would snap your hand off. I know Gibbo Phil has got some tyres but they may be mud pluggas not sure

If they were 7.50's they would be inside my house under lock and key :D

Apparently they done them in 9.00's aswell  I have seen 14.00's on a Lorry (Scammell possibly) at a steam show... That would be amazing! Not sure how you would fit em on landy but i am sure there is a way :D

this is wot i run.

I just got BFG Mut Terrain... But I did't get the size right!!:confused2:

I thought 235x85x16 would be enough, but it's not... 265x75x16 is, in my opinion the way to go!!

Next time...

i prefer 235 the others are too wide for my taste
I like the fedima/insa/simex but they have to be 900x16 and measure real time over 37 inch. The so called 35 inch are only 33 and the 37 are only really 35 inch at a push

Wow a tyre company that actually doesn't lie.
99% of the tyres that quote their size are well out.

They are on my new list of mabe's then cos I cant go much lower than 36 inch cos the gearing will be perrrrrrfect for 36/37 inch in a month or so

ah you fitting a 110 transfer box,
I found my low range is silly high espcially for trials events and rock crawling

Ow did i mention ?Mines on a disco transferbox aswell so its not a 1.4 its a 1.22 even taller gearing in High range. I'm going 4.7 diffs front and rear the front axle is almost stripped and rebuilt the back needs more work being a salisbury and I gotta transfer my locker and make it disk braked. Finding a genuine 110 4.7 ratio salisbury was hard luckily I got a front and rear for a Quid!

Is anybody on here interested in my 750/16 tyres? The front 2 are Flamingos which as you say are Firestone copies, and the back 2 are Olympic Super Mud pluggas. All 4 been fitted about 2 months back. Few nicks out of the corner lugs but still look near new.

I shall get some photos of them in the day light tomorrow then chuck them on ebay unles anybody on here wants to make me an offer.

a farmer friend of mine in the area has an old landcruser with 750.16 front tyres from a 4x4 tractor.our area is mostly red clay and rock, slipery as snot and sticky as ****e on a blanket.ive seen him cross a freshly plowed field with it.they are only rated to 50kph so going to the shops may take a little longer, but if you only use it off road then thats 3 times to fast.i use bridgestone 750.16 jeep service 14 ply with modified deep dish landy rims on my td5 for a wider stance.ive thought of using modified 900.16 rims with excavator tyres
