Whats up people? Hi. It's my first topic on the forum.

I have had a 2006 Freelander TD4 for a year.

Apart from the problem of the engine trrrrrr that does not finish lowering (yesterday I disassembled and reassembled, it is the wear of the engine gear teeth), water began to enter through the roof on the passenger side.

For this reason, I took the opportunity to disassemble the mechanism a little, remove the 2 metal pieces that keep the spiral slide firm in the corner of the front part of the roof, thus easily accessing the front water drainage holes that, from what I read, go down inside the A-pillar.

I did it with a fairly strong single-phase electricity cable and I reached a point (approximately 1m of cable) where it gets stuck and does not move any further.

I expected that when I reached the end of the duct the water would drain and the tip of the cable would appear somewhere in the fender area, or under the hinges of the front doors... But not.

I couldn't go through the entire drain pipe with the cable. Beyond observing that said conduit is too narrow (poor for drainage, compared to the drainage hoses that my Passat has, double or triple in diameter), it is likely that the end of the drainage conduit is clogged or clogged by mud or dirt.

The question is (because I didn't find the right answer on the Freelander forum) where the sliding roof drainage ducts end: under the body? In the fender area?

I really appreciate the help in advance.

Later I will comment if I can get the motor gear repaired or if I have to buy a new one.

Greetings... Lauro
