I don't mean from stock (I am guessing that was the Vogue SE, or later LSE?), but were there any 'very special editions' like the Holland & Holland or Linney P38's and such like? I know Overfinch got their hands on a few, but mainly focused on the engine rather than the interior I believe.

Alternatively, anyone got pics of some seriously aftermarket modified examples? Loads get bobtailed and offroaded, but do many Classics get the full on luxury treatment? Would be cool to see some pics of any that have!

There really are some truly hideous examples there!!

So, anyone had a go themselves at making an ultra-luxurious Classic?

I had a 93 Vogue SE,3.9v8 on air suspension. Were it not so rusty I would have it today - quite happy to drive it for the rest of my life.It was a VERY comfy front room to ride in,heated electric chairs, nice bit of tree here and there, went well - just about anywhere.Much nicer than the soft dash ones and the P38's and L322's.

Check this one out:
Graeme Hunt - 1994 Range Rover Overfinch 630HSi
Outragous price though! Regardless of condition!

well rasheed I am glad you see sense, just make sure its been put on springs!

ah no, sorry mate there i draw the line. i like the EAS system and i think it works fine. i like the ride and i like controlling the height, especially getting it to kneel in access mode. on the p38 mine only started giving in after 13 years and i know people on springs and shocks who've had to replace the lot sooner. i took my time and sorted mine out, new rear bags, lots of new o'rings, refurbed the valve block and compressor and its fine. probably cost me 200 pounds. well worth it i reckon especially as the car being in bangladesh believe me, the suspension has to work for a living! i want an LSE for germany because of the roominess (lots of stuff to carry for the bambina), the fact that its simply so cool and better looking than the new L's AND cos its the only classic with EAS.

The 95 3.9RRC softdash I have sitting outside my front door on its bumpstops due to leaking airbags would like to correct you on that 'fact' ;)
Dont forget it was also on the standard wheelbase Vogue SE aswell,my 93 had it......

i stand corrected! don't know a lot about classics TBH but thought EAS was only introduced in the LSE as a testbed for the upcoming P38.

This one looks quite nice :)
