Anyone got an old diff pan filler plug boss I can earole?
Obviously it needs to be cut out of a scrap axle or diff pan, burri need it fur my new strengthened diff pan - an I dont wanna cut mine till the new pan is ready to fix.

int yer going fer a 3/8" thick doo dah? in which case yer could just tap that feclker and screw yer bung reet into it without the need fer a boss. they only have a boss on the landy pan cos its so thin

cept the taps are likely to be fookin expensive an i dont have a sophisticated workshop - so drill a hole and weld in a boss is easier (and cheaper) than tappin the hole.

i fink the carriage wud be so expensive, it wud be cheaper to get it done here. anyroadup - i can most likely braze a boss in, myself.

apparently Scorpion used to sell a strengthened diff pan, but stopped selling them about 2 years ago.

i just like to do fings proper and that means, to me, using the same size filler plug and apperture. I accept it aint critical - its just me bein pedantic.

when I got it sorted it will be the dogs (I hope) - it just takes a bit more effort and time.

ta G-spot - burri fink i gorrit sorted now - just need to order the stuffs an see wot i can do;)

will keep yooz informed. I reckon its gonna cost about £65 to do tho.

reet folks - more on the shopping list.....
