Probably just as well......last time I went on a rescue mission I sorted the car and got them running just as the RAC turned up......which was lucky cause the Landy wouldn't start

well iv had an RAC guy turn up, look at the wheel and tell me what I told him 4 hours ago... 'it's ****ed' so he's got a flat bed on its way. The guy gave me a lift to a petrol station n after me dinner I'll take a walk back.

Just as an aside - could you not have removed the nsr halfshaft, put it in difflock and driven it?
Not if it was my brakes or wheel bearing... I don't think. It would have still trashed my new tyres...
Well iv solved me problem! The rear left brake pad dropped from the caliper because some arse put the wrong pads in... The pad then scored the hub and finally snagged locking my wheel... New pads, hubs not too bad so kept that... Cheers for the help guys!!!

Sounds like a nightmare, I broke down problem with CPU and the AA took 7 3/4 to turn up only one flat bed working the whole of bed and bucks, allegedly, I complained as we only got it for the other half, three months later still waiting for a reply, cancelled the DD a letter came two days later telling me how important it was to have cover for those emergencys

It doesn't matter what breakdown club you're with. If the trucks are busy they're busy. You have to remember that the aa and rac rely on subcontractors too. Greenflag and brittania don't have any of their own trucks so there is a high likelyhood that you would have been waiting just as long no matter who you were with.
