Sound will work with the SAT NAV unplugged, however, I would expect there to be water/corrosion in the other units. It's pretty unlikely they will be dry if the SAT NAV unit is wet.ill try that in a bit ive just disconected the battery in a vain attempt at getting some sort of reboot. should audio work with nav unit unplugged? i thought it was also the computer for the whole system?
Had them apart? Unplugged the DSP??everything is dry, no slgn of corrosion at all
It all works from the stuff in the rear quarter, but you can dreamim pretty sure the fault is elsewhere , i think the few drop of water on the nav unit was a coinsidence
i think the clue could be the indicators not ticking? what would cause this?
I would have thought the stereo will still function without the nav drive
Indicator relay ?[/quote the indicators are working just no sound, if it was relay would they not work at all?

Sounds like a fuse or something has blown that controls the dash controls since your having issues with the message centre and indicator clicker that is part of the console
