I am looking to replace my roof light with LED's as part of my rebuild and quest to "unload" as much of the electrical circuits as possible after the engine fire. Although the additional lights are run through relays LED have a much lower power draw than Halogen so reduce the risk further again. I have a roof bar with six mounting positions on it and previously ran 6x Ring driving lights (link) with the standard 55watt bulbs because they were cheap and had a reasonable distance pattern for the light beam.

I am looking for something similar that has a distance beam pattern but in LED. I am happier to spend a little more for an LED unit that is good quality and will last but also need to consider the fact I want six of them! the ring lights tended to last 2-3 years before they corroded or broke on tree branches etc, but that was not a problem as they were so cheap. I would want a better life span from a sealed LED unit and am looking for an aluminum housing rather than plastic so they are less likely to break. I am also slightly limited on size as they are roof lights and I underslung them from the mounting bar to give added protection. I am not a fan of the "Jeep" look of having massive round spotlights sticking up from the top of the windscreen. Therefore I am limited to a max height of about about 100mm. We should all be able to agree that this just looks silly and not just because it is a plastic jeep!

I have come across the two options below that look reasonable and are to the best of my knowledge decent brands. Has anyone got any experience with either of these or any recommendations of lights they are using that fit what I am looking for.

Link 1: Osram LEDriving® CUBE VX80-SP LED working spotlights 15W

Link 2: Hella 1FB 358 176-211 Black Magic LED Mini Light Bar Kit 6.2in Spot 12V 24V 30W

I have some Osram lights. Good quality IMO. But check the flood vs beam distance. Some of the smaller units are designed for close up work more so.

Another option could be to put led bulbs in your existing lights.
