Leaking windscreen

My 1999 4.6 leaks through the windscreen at the top. Water then soaks the headlining and dribbles down the inside of the windscreen. Noticed it yesterday going through the car wash. Checked the sunroof and it was dry. How do I get the trim off the outside to check and possibly reseal with some silicon?

have you tried Autoglass?

Thought it might be something simple I could do myself before getting the wallet out!

mine has just started to leak through, it appears at the top of the a pillars, have taken the windscreen trim off and put some instant gasket silicone around, seems to have done the trick but will wait for some heavy rain!! if it carries on ill use my insurance excess for a new screen!!Have a look on rave as its got a good description for taking the trim off.

your leak will be from the panel join under roof rack trim-it just needs siliconing

try "seek and seal" its a runny liquid poor it in at the top of the screen and it works its way along finding the hole and then hardens
