Since I rebuilt the engine on my 4.0 P38, there was a leak on the rad.

I picked a second hand one up this morning, and low and behold.....it's ****ing out.

I feel that having done all the work I've done on the car, I know it inside out....certainly a simple radiator connection, but I'm starting to doubt my sanity......so

Top hose, connected and tight, no leaks.

Bleed hose, connected and tight, no leaks.

Bottom hoses and stat housing, all connected and tight, no leaks.

Drain plug, tight and no leaks.

Both rad's have dripped from the right hand side as you look at the car.........I'm assuming both the existing and the salvage rad are fooked?......or am I missing something?

when bolting in the rad everyting must be slackened first.ive known them twist before resulting in leaking when 2 bottom bolts are tightened up and yes always from the bottom where the plastic is crimped to the alloy.work in reversall its worth a try
