Update: I found out this is the charcoal canister breather hose and that it's normal?
- Discovery 2a, 4L V8 from 2003
- Car had been sitting for 24h
- On the driver's side of engine bay (right hand drive)
I connected my DIY smoke machine to the air intake, pumped smoke into it, and in addition to a few other vacuum leaks, I was seeing the smoke come out from this breather hose:
I'm not sure if it's for the trans or the transfer case?
Is this normal that smoke can escape from there via the throttle body? I didn't know these two were connected
