Morning,
Im planning a trip to Latvia in autmn (or poss spring next year). Looking for advice on anything from best route from UK, to customs, fuel price and availability, visa (do I need one?) etc etc. Also anyone else interested in making the trip or already going in next 6 to 9 months? Looking for anyone with building trade experience preferably to help in a worthy project for a few days.
Ta, Tony

Cross Channel then head across Germany to Poland and into Baltic countries.

Customs, visas? They are now in the EU

No problem doing it as a solo vehicle.

Fuel readily available.

Be warned they do have hand held speed guns!

Sat Navs in Eastern Europe only used to cover major towns/routes. Check yours if you intend using one.

Upmarket hotels used to insist on payment in $ rather then local currency

Contact the local clubs.

English is widely spoken especially amongst youngsters/more educated

HTH Enjoy
