you do understand that if we pull out of afgan now, that its just opening up our country for more attacks. its going to let them do what ever the hell they want in there own playground. Also, the advance in military technolgy and equipment these past years is immense.

yes i do know the consequences,in a report on tv,the reporter went round every shop keeper in the town/village.and to a man they all said they want the military out and the taliban to take over.it is their country,let them run it how they see fit.

A few questions, if I may...

It looks like we might be able to afford the expense after all, depending on whether I get a bonus at some point before it happens or not (fingers crossed)!!

Can we camp on-site in a caravan, or does it have to be a tent? No electric needed, of course.

Also, can I just confirm that if my girlfriend and I want to come, we'll need to pay £12 each for entry, £15 per night of camping (for both of us) and £25 to take part in the parade? It's not an issue... just want to confirm, so i can keep it in my budget moving forward!

Finally, presumably, if we turn up Saturday morning and leave Sunday evening, we'll only have to pay 1 night's camping, but will we actually have enough time to get through the museum on Saturday, have a nice evening and then take part in the parade on Sunday before collecting our caravan and heading home? Does that sound like a plan that will work?

we hae been in afghanistan before and the british army was nearly wiped out....its just modern day cowboys n indians with the F.O.B.S

when did Afghanistan attack us?? Terrorism is 3dimentional and comes from all directions/countrys.

When we leave it will just go back to the way it was before 2001..nothing changed and lots of big rocks changed into little rocks....And that is not having a pop at the boots on the ground as they are the ones closing in and killing the enemy, its just the way it is.

and a very sad waste of british soldiers lives. the only worthy cause in the last 30years has been the falklands (defending british territory)

Seal the Afghanistan boarders, the place is a cesspit that has defeated many countries.

This is not an honorable war, this is an imperialistic American Empire building exercise.

Nobody questions how much this cesspit is costing in lives and money.

in 2006/2007 16 air assault smashed them so much that the taliban leaders asked for a nagotiation table, and what did we do... just let them walk all over us and gave them what they wanted!
