is a 3 dr window regulator same as 5dr?

Hi all finally going to do something about the passenger front window on my dads car took the trim off usual broken wires and window jammed up electrical connector disconnected.
got a bit concerned as i was getting very low reading when i tested the output to the motor like a couple of volts bared the cables further back and got 12v so connector has corroded being off for so long so need to sort that as well as replace the broken regulator.

I have had a look at all the repair wires and call me a wuss but i think i am going to change the whole regulator.

so my question here is are the regultors same for 3 and 5 dr models?

i dont want to get a new or 2nd hand regulator and it doesnt fit!

no I do not think so as the the doors are wider on the 3 door

yeah thats what i thought but seen ebay ads saying they fit both?

so just asking those on here who have chamged them and did they have to get a 3 dr specific?

check the part numbers on a website will have a look myself be good to no this stuff

just to let any newbies like me know yes the regulators are the same

i got a used one of ebay was only a couple of months old and an aftermarket job bearmach.

easy enough if fiddily to fit my main issue was broken cabled and burnt out motor so couldnt lower my window to release the glass but thankfullu there are 2 handy holes in the doorskin that let you unbolt the glass if you can drop it about an inch apart from that was easy enough followed the guides/.posts on here and job done

also the new one appears to be stainless wires just makes you winder why landrover didnt do this in the first place! grrr

anyway one issue sorted a million more to go
