So here's a weird one:
Red dash LED for imobiliser is always flashing (same rate as I've always known it to) irrespective of engine on/off.
When getting into the car, I'll use a laserline type imobiliser fob, similar to this: Imobiliser Fob
The led lights up solid when the fob is in contact with the terminal, and then I can start engine. LED goes back to flashing when driving...
Is this normal? Would also say, I've recently had to fix a lot of previous owner bodging incl. where he'd wired main lighting switch positive from the constant 12v source on imobiliser. I would guess there's more bodge that I'll need to work through. :boom:
