If there's a sticker on the bonnet which says it is, someone stuck it on after!

Try insuring it as a 110CSW and yer'll be OK.

defenders and pre defenders (which yours IS mate, deal with it, the sticker the log book are wrong, wouldnt be the first time a log book is way off and anyone can get a defender sticker, hell i'l stick a td5 on my 300tdi but that dont make it a td5!)
any way back to me point, defenders and pre defenders look the same, pretty much until ya go further back and to the series landys do ya start to see a noticable change in design. talk to dvla bout logbook. rip defender stickers off.

be honest i dont give a monkies what it is as long as it gets insured, dont defenders have that seating arrangement ?

every part i have ordered so far has been for a defender and has fitted, paddocks, craddocks and MM 4x4 all think its a defender, but as i said, it dont matter
