Iceland Trip. Chicken drum sticks and Turkey Twisslers

Just been looking to price a trip up over to Iceland. No wise ass, not the frozen food chain at the end of you road! They be ****ed if you turned the frozen party food isle into a drive thru! ** Not to mention Kerry Katona trying to bum a smoke off you or gettin ya to baby sit while she gets rail roaded in the pizza isle!

Firstly, from what i've found, you have to get the ferry from Denmark. No big deal, a days jaunt and you can be in Denmark if you cross from Kent to say Holland / Belgium. Even a ferry from Hull i think or even the chunnel??

So ok trip still on! Then i get a quote... WTF. 3400 Euros return, it's a 2 1/2 day crossing as it goes via the Faroe Islands. This was including a basic cabin as well 2 adults 1 child and a vehicle up to 2.5m tall.

Trip off! Thats a shed load of funny money they want, and it looks no better if you turn it into the Queen's own Quid. Still gettin pumped either way!

They do ferrys from Scotland, no idea how much but it should be a lot cheaper and quicker.

yes it is expensive. have you looked at containering it and flying? either waay it will still be expensive. Iceland is just one of those places.

How about a drive up Norway instead?

Nice one. Only thing is that post is 5 to 6 years old now. Prices and routes may have changed. Going to investigate further.
