I am looking to buy, but what year?

I am looking to buy a Range Rover, Oldest possibly 2006 up to possibly 2010. Anyone any ideas what would be a good year in that range. Also what sort of mileage should I be looking as a max?

I had a P38 until 12 months ago and have withdrawal symptoms.

Would you go for a top spec or a lesser spec?

Top spec post 2009 with around 60k miles powered by the masterful TDV8 would be my choice....

Go for the best you can afford, but keep some change for inevitable repairs....

That's the only thing that puts me off the new models ! As much as I want that TDV8, the 4.4 V8 of course
