Should have got around 20 ish.
Not too bad a job, have a look at RAVE and get an idea first. You will need an Inlet Manifold gasket ERR7306, Set of end seals ERR 7283 and a tube of Hylomar sealant. You would easily do it in a day. As posted before, have a look at a new camshaft first so that you can compare yours.
Any queries..just shout.:tea::smokin:

tempted to have a crack at it. i downloaded rave but cannot open it due to it being
a cd rom image or something. i downloaded magic iso to open it but the file is to big
to open for free. wants me to pay $30.

Hi hunterandthehunted,
Been reading through your post, i am have a similar problem with my 4.6, running rough and rich on idle, i suspect my lambda sensors as i did a voltage check when running, one side fine and the other giving a reading to show rich.
i use rave to work from, and i used winzip to unzip and extract the files worked perfectly. regards the cam wear, it possibly will be worn but i dont think it would cause the problems you have.
reading through rave the MIL light only comes on for faults on north american vehicles, european one log a fault code but keep the light off.
Hope this helps a bit.

no i int, i have opened it all but i apparantly need a plug in from acrobat or something

No need to uninstall the newer version of acrobat from your PC, just start the version of acrobat that is actually on the CD and it will all run OK. Use Windows Explorer to find the Acrobat file on the CD and just open it. You can also create a desktop shortcut to do this next time.:D
