Deep down, I have a suspicion that the camshaft needs looking at. Will cost you around a tenner for replacement Inlet Manifold (Valley) gasket and seals.
thats on 40 mile run at 50-60ish13.8 around town? thats good

pm me ur address and i'll send ya a copytempted to have a crack at it. i downloaded rave but cannot open it due to it being
a cd rom image or something. i downloaded magic iso to open it but the file is to big
to open for free. wants me to pay $30.
i got vista as well, it didnt offer to do it for me. i will try sirus recommondation...I didnt need anything like that. Windows Vista did it for me![]()

thats cos uve got a newer version of acrobat on your pc, i had the same problem... i uninstalled acrobat.. the cd uses the version on the discno i int, i have opened it all but i apparantly need a plug in from acrobat or something

Been reading through your post, i am have a similar problem with my 4.6, running rough and rich on idle, i suspect my lambda sensors as i did a voltage check when running, one side fine and the other giving a reading to show rich.
i use rave to work from, and i used winzip to unzip and extract the files worked perfectly. regards the cam wear, it possibly will be worn but i dont think it would cause the problems you have.
reading through rave the MIL light only comes on for faults on north american vehicles, european one log a fault code but keep the light off.
