hiya newbie from south wales

hiya everbody , my name is Darren , im from south wales and i just bought my first discovery today after needing a bit more room than my current fiesta offers lol .
its a 1995 M plate 2.5 TDI ( is that a 200 tdi or 300 tdi ) 5 door 7 seater manual with all electric windows and air con ( that works lol ) and alloy wheels . i will get some pics on here very soon when the sun comes back out lol.

any advice would be appreciated as i dont know too much about the discovery and ill look forward to chatting to you all in the forums

P.S what kind of real world MPG can i expect cos at the moment im being spoilt with my 1.2 fiesta ( 45 MPG ) and my daily commute is just under 30 miles ?

hi darren

that's good that it's about 30 miles to work cos you will use a gallon each way. its around 26-32mpg generally.

It'll be a 300 mate, mine gets around 27 28mpg that's driving reasonably sensible. Last time i checked it was 25mpg but the tank before it did 28mpg.

thanks for the replies but i changed my mind on that discovery and ended up with this one instead - 1993 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY TDI RED on eBay, also, Land Rover Range Rover, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 21-May-08 19:36:40 BST) .
i paid £1600 for her so was that a fair price or did i get caught
